Alright, I said to make sure you put on your creative thinking hats on...here is why!

I am looking for CHUNKY MONKEY's BIGGEST FAN!

After my fun session with the 3 Chunky Monkey's (pic posted here on post right below this one), I thought how much fun would it be to see you guys come up with a way to represent Chunky Monkey!

Here are the details:

Come up with a Cute, Creative, Fun, Imaginative way to represent Chunky Monkey Photography. Using your kiddos, family, pets, etc, take a candid picture and EMAIL it to me. Do not post them on Facebook. Think fun, playful, excited!!!

Once I receive everyone's by the specified date, I will upload them all to a Facebook album for voting. You will want to have all your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc vote for the best creative idea (yours of course!)! They will have to be fans on Facebook in order to vote. Persons can only vote 1 time! The winning picture will walk away with a handful of fun prizes!

~A FREE Memory Album Book filled with pictures from ALL of your 2010 sessions (Free mini sessions and any other sessions that you have participated in for 2010).

Princess K- 3month old

3 month sessions can be difficult and one Sunday morning- I had two in a row. To say the least, I was a bit worried about how they would go. 3 month olds are in that in-between stage of newborns and "growing up". They are just learning to hold their heads up well, learning they have hands (which are always in their mouths) and a lot of other stuff that can make a session a challenge. BUT...this (well, both that day!) little one did just perfect!! She is going to be a complete joy to photograph over the next year! And check out her two bff's.....they came dressed and ready for a quick picture with their best friend...all decked out in Chunky Monkey Outfits (done by www.frugalmommyof2girls.blogspot.com). I can't wait for her next session in just a few short months!

Senior

I have said it again and I will keep saying it...I love SENIOR sessions!!! They are sooo much fun. You get to capture one of the most special times in their lives...they are almost FREE of high school, parents (which they will quickly learn they will miss!), chores, etc.....they get to go to college and LIVE it up! So...to say the least, they are normally very excited and willing to have some fun. This beautiful girl was NO different! We had a blast! She actually is going to do another session in the spring so she can do a totally different wardrobe- gotta love it! Can't wait!!

A special maternity session!

So, I am a bit behind on blogging.....January has ended up being a very busy month! I have a few sessions that I want to share with you all!

This session was a very fun one for me! This momma-to- be (again) is a sister of a very good friend of mine. I was excited when she asked me to document her journey to welcome their baby girl into the world.

Now, I will backtrack for just a moment- bare with me. Many photographers will say that when they were little, they always had a camera in their hands. My dream (LONG SHOT OF ONE!!) was to do gymnastics. I grew up watching all the greats compete. When I was just entering into the right age to "try" gymnastics, the great Zmeskal was the one that I loved to watch! When I met my good friend a few years ago, I found out that they were actually sisters. Pretty cool uh? Well, I met her a few times and finally got to do pictures of her most adorable boys for the first time over this past Halloween. I have obviously given up the dream to be a gymnast but the thought of me as a little girl, dreaming to be like her still makes me smile. Now, I get to document the great Zmeskal in her ALL time best....being a MOM!

Now...just wait for the newborn session preview (once the little princess makes her debut)...it will be one you won't want to miss!

A day in the life.....

A day in the life......I so badly want to be better this year at capturing my own little one in her everyday activities. So many things she does makes me go "awwww" or "ugghhh!" but its all cute and she is so smart! This is the first thing she did when she got out of bed....they were hungary for breakfast too!

Queen of the castle

It was Nana's birthday so we painted her a picture...she LOVED it!

This was about 5 mins before we headed over for Nana's birthday dinner. She was dressed in her "party" dress with her crown..her wand was somewhere. She was NOT happy about something. Thinking about printing this for my wall....lol.
