Alittle Bit of Inspiration (for myself today...and hopefully you too!)
The past year of my life has been the most exciting, accomplished, beautiful, and blessed year of my life (other than the year my daughter was born, oh and the year I married my wonderful husband) but in a business sense...this past year has been unbelievable. With all that said, it has not come with out many obstacles to overcome!
Some of those obstacles have been: learning how to run a business, learning how to work a business around whats best for your family, learning how to best deal with the people who are not so supportive or even want to bring you down in one way or another (yes..they exist in every corner you turn!). But with each obstacle I overcome, I come out stronger, wiser, and a better person, mommy and wife so I take on each obstacle with an open mind.
I am always looking for the best way to overcome and deal with the challenges that are put in front of me. You know the saying...your answer is right in front of you (or something like that..lol)? Well, that is true in my own life. I went to my nieces talent show before school let out for the summer. She sang her favorite song by Miley Cyrus. I even teared up (okay..I cried like a baby) while she sang it because I was so proud of her for getting up on the stage, overcoming her fear of singing in front of her WHOLE school and putting on a WONDERFUL performance. Not once did I ever really sit and listen to the song for the words or meaning. Well, today "The Climb" came on about 6 times from the time I got in the car to the time I made it home from my sessions today. All of a sudden..it hit me. This song is my answer. Now, it might seem weird being that its a "pop idol" for young teenagers but man, its a POWERFUL song.
Here is the chorus:
There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about whats waiting on the other side
It's the climb
This song says it all to me. No matter what, there is always going to be another challange to overcome or a battle to fight. Sometimes I will win, sometimes I will lose. But its all about getting to the top...which I feel I am very much on my way! I hope to be able to find the best way to teach this to my children. Not to ever give up on your dreams....keep trying no matter who or what stands in your way!
I do try not to post alot of mushy personal stuff on this blog due to I want to dedicate it to my customers! But as I have gone though my day today, I wanted to share and remind you when looking for the answer or inspiration...don't forget to look right in front of you!

Meet Stephanie....
Meet the Seniors...this is Stephanie. We had something in common right after we meet. We have both gone though many 5am soccer games at Richland College Fields. The only difference is..she played..I watched. Anyone that knows me knows that my family is soccer oriented after my little (not so little anymore) brother. Anyways, Stephanie was great to work with. She was easy going and just a total smile pleaser in front of the camera!! Thanks Stephanie!
Meet EJ......
Meet the Seniors...this is EJ! Ambers twin brother! He was awesome to work with as well! Of course the first words out of his mouth was..."I'm camera shy"...we quickly overcame that. He had a lot of fun hanging out with all the girls that day too. Look at that curly, curly hair! My goodness. Hope you like..thanks EJ!
